  • Will I need to have the materials before A1 Handyman begins work?

    A1 Handyman stocks many common items, which mean fewer trips to purchase materials during our visits. If there are any supplies needed for the job, you have a number of options:

    • Purchase the materials ahead of time and save some money associated with material handling/pick-up costs.
    • Shop for any materials not on hand while our technician is working.
    • Accompany the technician at the home center to select and purchase the materials. Utilize the technician’s professional expertise and truck to transport those materials.
    • Have A1 Handyman pick up the materials for you. However, be advised that if the technician gets your supplies, he is “on the clock” and this time is billed at our regular rate.
  • What type of warranty or guarantee do you offer?

     Yes—all A1 Handyman technicians are fully insured for your protection and peace of mind. We carry both general liability insurance and workers’ compensation coverage, so you’re never at risk if an accident occurs on the job.     For small or minor repairs that take less than two hours, we may offer a flat rate to keep things simple and affordable.

  • How do I pay for services?

    A1 Handyman accepts check or credit card payments for your convenience.


    • You can hand a check to the technician once the job is complete and you’re fully satisfied
    • Credit card payments are also accepted (please note: a 3% processing fee applies to all card transactions)
